On the crusade for Klingers Farm heirloom seeds from New Milford, NJ

12-15-18 On the crusade for my family's heirloom seeds

I set out to try to find any seed savers that may have ANY seeds from my family's farm in New Milford, NJ.

I have messaged all Bergen County Facebook pages and newspapers, to try and see if there is any local horticulture groups or seed saver's around New Milford. So far I cannot find any. I did have a community member tell me that years ago, he noticed that when he had a volunteer tomato plant grow in his garden form the year before, it never produced fruit. He originally bought the plants from Klinger's farm so he decided to ask Uncle Bill the next year. He was told that they planted hybrid plants that did not produce fruit if planted from original plants. CRAZY! DING DING DING!!  This may be the reason I cannot find any love seeds!!  

My conversations and noted posts were all so kind. Many shared their memories growing up by the farm and visiting with their families.
