LOOK WHO WE FOUND! LOST KIKO GOAT ACTUALLY CAME BACK!!
I had given up all hope. I searched for days and Tuesday morning I decided I would not search the woods all day. I walked Babylove out to the truck as he was leaving for work and Parker said he kept hearing a goat cry. He pointed in the direction of the white kiko, so I just wrote it off as it was her in the back of the barnyard. I went in and made coffee and started my walk to the barn area. I turned around and looked at my goat pen just so see if they attracted her and BAM!
There she stood, staring at my goats! I didn't know what to do so I started panicking. I whispered to Ruger "lets go in the house", ran over and put him up. I went to the side by side and grabbed out the feed bucket and leash I was keeping with me while looking for her.
I walked over to her and she started to walk off, very skittish. I shook the bucket and she came close and actually tried to eat. I went to grab her horns but she was so fast and darted behind the pen. I hurried and opened the goats pen up and they all came running out for the feed bucket. I figured she would stay if they were around. I was right! They all attacked the bucket and I slowly walked backwards into the pen. She followed them and I went all the way to the back and put the bucket down and ran out! Locked it up and then rejoiced!!!
I really didn't want her in with my existing goats but I had no choice! I let her relax for about 45 minutes so she wasn't so jumpy. I had to get her in the quarantine pen ASAP. I went back in the pen with more feed and was able to grab her horns and put a leash around her neck. I carried her all the way back behind the barnyard to the white kiko. She cried the whole time, didn't like being contained. I got her in the quarantine pen and instantly they both were happy to see each other and started to eat the cut tree limbs together. I even saw the white kiko drink, which I had not since I got her.

Together again and I am so relieved she is ok! She was a little dirty, really wet and actually seemed hungry, which is weird, she had a whole forest to eat! No more worry, no more searching, no more listening for every sound!! She is safe and locked up for a month! I cant wait to watch her grow! If I havent mentioned she is a 75% Kiko, so her offspring with a 100% New Zealand goat will be able to be registered. Back to the dream board!
We decided to name her MIRACLE.
