We took the kids Creek Fishing on the WRONG Side of Town...THEN THE COPS SHOWED UP! We decided to take the kids Creek fishing where Babylove use to fish in the 80's while his mom shopped in Anthony's up front. The City of Tulsa has redone this creek with cement, nice rocks, spillways and waterfalls because when you leave from Tulsa International Airport, this is one of he main highway intersections you will pass. It really looks lovely. We heard there is some good size Bass caught in this exact spot. We start by fishing this area, it is late September so the green moss is very heavy. I enjoyed seeing all the ecosystems, and small minnows. We traveled down the creek to where it meets Mingo Creek. It was a very deep ravine with crystal clear water. No luck there with any fish. We decide to drive to a pond a mile away, that Mingo Creek feeds into. We use to go fishing there all the time in the 90's and actually caught a lot of bass. We drive over there and they go to fish, they are at the pond for about 10 minutes then ALL OF A SUDDEN BOOM!! A truck comes flying down the driveway, downhill with no breaks!! The doors open and a person jumps out the drivers seat while its still rolling and SMASHES into the rocks!! The rest is caught on camera. I did change the filter on the actual seen to keep the identity and vehicle description private. It was QUITE A DAY!!
