OKLAHOMA HILLS KIKO GOAT AUCTION SALE! HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY FOR A KIKO GOAT? TODAY we went to the Oklahoma Hills Invitational Goat Sale in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. This is an annual sale put on by the National Kiko Registry. On the 1st day of the Conference they had no cost seminars including a talk from "Goat Rancher Magazine", a discussion on Vesicular Stomatitis Virus and other goat diseases then a talk about Reproduction and technologies of goats. On the 2nd day of the Conference they had a talk about Goat Nutrition and about meat goat businesses and selections of meat goat breeding stock. It is a 2 day event held in the conference center sharing great seminars for Kiko Goat Breeders. Goat Farm Breeders come to find new doelings, yearlings, bucklings, bucks and does to add new DNA to their farm. New Herdsires or seasoned does , Seaman Straws and Embryos too! We arrived right on time and enjoyed the auction. You will not believe how beautiful and sturdy these goats were. All goat bids started at $500. The announcer is always so awesome, he reads to you who the parents of the presented goat is and then goes back a few generations on each side to explain the sires and dams and DNA further back. I tried to video as much as I can to share with you guys so you can learn like I did. You will hear many of the same names from the goats DNA, and learn the history of New Zealand Goats and Pure Bred Kiko Goats. Hope you enjoy this like I did!!
